Why It Matters

Before you hit record, get the rights in writing.

A great guest episode can turn into a rights headache later. Here's the problem:

Without a release, you don't clearly have the right to clip, repost, or run paid ads against the episode.
Guests rarely think about name-image-likeness consent until someone's legal team asks for it.
A verbal "yeah, sure, post it" isn't something either side can point to later.
